Nightstop: Providing a safety net to those forced to leave their home, Nightstop places young people in a safe and warm home for the night, provided by a vetted and approved volunteer :

Connections Emergency Housing: emergency housing facility for homeless youth

HOPE: transitional housing and wrap-around services for female survivors of human trafficking aged 16-26 in York Region

Supportive Transitional Apartments for Youth (STAY)

Residential Youth Homes: voluntary program offers combination of housing and support for youth, primarily 16-19 years of age, facing housing crisis :

Transitions: sources affordable market rent, community based units across York Region which are licensed out to youth participants

Housing Support Workers: assists clients in transitioning from one location to another, conducting housing searches, negotiating with landlords and more… :

Employment - Youth Job Connect: YJC paid pre-employment workshops, job matching and placement support

Employment - Base 4 Success (B4S) is 12 week paid employment program for youth who face barriers to employment

Employment - Every Bite Matters (EBM) 12-week paid employment program for youth who face barriers to employment and have an interest in culinary skill development

Employment - Specialized Training Employment Program (STEP) employment training and supports to youth with barriers and self-identify specifically with mental health challenges

Employment - Youth Success Strategy (YSS) Employment Counselling assists youth in reaching their employment goals who 1) do not require the support of a formal program or 2) do not meet the eligibility criteria of our formal programs

Youth Drop in Centers: Home Base Youth Drop-In Centre in Vaughan and Richmond Hill safe place for homeless or at risk youth aged 13 to 26 to get answers and support * helps youth build skills for independence * services to address employment, education, family breakdown, life skills, food security, housing support, counselling, recreational activities and clothing

YOUTHrive: recreation and mentorship programming for the residents of housing co-operatives in York Region

After School Program: supervised activities after school to promote healthy and active lifestyles

Leadership Engagement Gang Intervention Team: L.E.G.I.T. assistance for youth 12 – 20 yrs. who are involved in gangs, at-risk of gang involvement and/or have a history of involvement with the criminal justice system

Provincial Youth Outreach Workers: Youth Outreach Workers assist youth 13-24 yrs. to access services and supports

Aftercare and Transitional Support: assists youth transitioning out of the care of the Children’s Aid Society

iGRAD: Students work with the teacher on independent on-line, e-Learning courses * classroom open weekdays 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
