Description (Service) Services and programs for those struggling with addiction or mental health disorders

Residential Program: encompasses the physical, mental, spiritual, social, emotional and vocational needs of a human being within a highly structured, family-like environment * program length can be up to 24 months;

My Second Home: drop in mental health program

Family Support Group: meetings open to parents, siblings, friends, and spouses of people with addictions, mental health issues, or concurrent disorders

Addictions Day Program: activities include work turns (gardening, simple repair work, cleaning) within buildings owned by organizations and in the community as volunteer work at food banks etc. * participation in support groups * regular evaluations and case conferences with families * participants must provide own food and shelter after 4 pm and on weekends and closures

Winter Wellness Drop in Program: drop-in program for individuals affected by addition related issues * individual therapy, group discussions, social activities, connections to services and assistance with housing needs, employment and finances
Hours Main Office Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm * visits to the center by appointment only * My Second Home Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm * Winter Wellness Drop in Mon and Thu 1 pm-9 pm, Sat 9 am-5 pm * Addictions Day Program Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm
Meetings Inquiry Group Meetings: every Tue 7:30 pm-9:30 pm * open to the public for family, friends, and individuals seeking information and support * free of charge and no appointment required

Eligibility Ages: 17 year(s) and up For residential program Admission is voluntary for men over the age of sixteen (consideration for those under this age has been made in special circumstances) * professional referral note required but does accept referrals from doctors, psychiatrists, or other health care professionals or criminal justice system * if incarcerated or in hospital, will work with Probation Officers, Social Workers, Lawyers or other members of your team;
My Second Home for individuals 17 and older
Application Call for information * visits to the Center are by appointment only * Tuesday Evening Inquiry Group Meetings are "Open To The Public" * all are welcome to attend to get answers to questions and/or to book an assessment meeting to enter the program * if person lives out of town or province, a phone interview may be arranged;
