Description (Service) Individualized ABA program will help children and youth with ASD develop skills in the areas of Behaviour Management, Emotional Regulation, Communication, Social/ Interpersonal and Daily Living Skills * mediator training model provided on a short term consultative basis * services designed to target the child or youth’s highest priority skill development area identified through an assessment * each program is individualized to address particular strengths and needs in the child/youths developmental stage * includes a parent/caregiver education and instruction component as well as an individualized skill acquisition program for the child/youth 
 
ABA strategies are taught to families (parents and/or caregivers) in order to acquire, maintain and generalize skills to all areas of the child/youth’s life.  
 
ABA services are delivered through individual or group sessions as appropriate and are delivered in a variety of settings (i.e. home and community); service time is between two to six months for two to four hours per week (this includes consultation, research, clinical time, travel time and parent support)

Eligibility Children and Youth 0-17 years of age (up to 18th birthday); must have a confirmed Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis; must live in York Region or Simcoe County * after block of service is complete families can re-enter the service by contacting ABA Intake and return to the wait list as many times as they wish up to the 18th birthday
Application 15-16 month WAIT LIST as at April 2017 
Referral may be made by a parent, individual, doctor, and/or other agency/school board.
