Description (Service) First Aid division of Scouts Canada, providing youth opportunities to learn first aid, explore emergency services occupations and employ their first aid skills at community and scouting events 
 
Introduces youths to the medical field, provide the youth an opportunity to determine their potential and desire in first aid. The first link in the chain of survival is first aid * allows youths work closely with various people whose chosen career is in the Medical field * with the aid of their sponsors, many MedVent groups provides the youth an introduction in the operations of a paramedicine organization

Dates All year; new recruitment usually occurs September to November
Meetings Medical Training: alternate Monday nights 7 pm-9 pm * Venturer and Rover Sessions: as required by group * Annual Skills Weekend: October * Annual Scenarios Weekend: April / May

Participants over 17 years of age required to have a valid police reference check including vulnerable persons section * All members participate in a Suitability and Screening Interview prior to being accepted into the group
