Description (Service) First Aid division of Scouts Canada, providing youth opportunities to learn first aid, explore emergency services occupations and employ their first aid skills at community and scouting events * Members form a volunteer first aid response team training twice a month* team deploys at community and scouting events throughout the year on weekends and some evening events as requested

First Aid Certification levels for training include; Standard First Aid & CPR (minimal level), Advanced Wilderness and Remote First Aid, First Responder * Additional training opportunities as requested or arranged by team members

Participants over 17 years of age required to have a valid police reference check including vulnerable persons section * All members complete 'Respect in Sport' and Woodbadge Training (Scouting Orientation / Safety Training), both done online  
Application and Selection Process for all members
Application Candidates selected from the application process are invited to a Selection Camp held at start of season * Contact medvent.advisor@gmail.com * Selection Camp to be held early December
