Description (Service) Provides opportunities for members to develop and improve their artistic talents in visual art through workshops, lectures, and presentations, delivered by a number of distinguished artists * recognizes and encourages excellence in visual art through the granting of prizes, awards and distinctions * provides exposure for members' artwork through a variety of juried and non-juried art shows in the community and digital media * engages with the community in various enterprises, making available resources and expertise, thus fostering a partnership and encouraging a better understanding and appreciation of the visual arts
