Description (Service) Has worked to further a wide variety of environmental projects: Partnering with the Canadian Peregrine Foundation since 1999 (released endangered peregrine falcons back to the wild and tracked them to their wintering grounds) * also conducts an annual Christmas Bird Count in York Region for Audubon society* undertook amphibian calling and migration surveys in Richmond Hill with the help of local volunteers * has worked to protect sensitive areas of the Oak Ridges Moraine and supports events at Kortright Conservation area
