Description (Service) Serves all unemployed and underemployed persons * support newcomers, internationally trained professionals, new graduates, older workers, persons with disability, youth 
An Employment Counsellor will determine whether more individualized assistance and support are needed to help develop a career and set goals, assess skills and interests, and help prepare for interviews and employment 
Free Employment Source services include: 
* Connection to the hidden job market and access to jobs  
* Career workshops on resumes, interview skills, job searching using social media and more 
* Information on training, education and apprenticeships 
* Application support for Second Career 
* Guidance from a team of professional Employment Counsellors and Workforce Specialists 
* Access to computers, telephones, faxes, photocopiers and the Internet 
* Referrals to other community services
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm

Eligibility Employment Ontario - no restrictions, everyone can access the self-service information and resources including people with jobs, those who are under-employed, people looking for work, students, apprentices, internationally trained individuals and employers 
More intensive assisted services – such as personalized job search, job matching and placement, and job retention services – are for people who are unemployed and out of school * An Employment Counsellor will assess eligibility for participating in these programs based on a client's skills, education, experience, interests and career goals. 
Youth Job Link for youth 
Youth Reach must be between 15 and 26 years old, live in York region, have experienced conflict with the law and are looking for employment * Services are offered throughout York Region 
Second Career - provides assessment services for the government-funded Second Career program.
