Description (Service) Afterschool Program -- free after school program for children ages 6-12 * physical activities, cooking classes and a daily healthy snack, guest presenters, some reading and homework help, as well as self esteem building activities

Youth Residences -- for youth 16-19 years of age who are in need of housing * two locations in Markham housing 13 youth Connections - Emergency youth housing -- Offering 14 single-occupancy rooms for youth 16-26 7days a week providing food, bedding, hygiene supplies and wraparound services

Supportive Transitional Apartments For Youth (STAY Program) -- 3 apartments in Markham offer a supportive affordable housing solution for 11 youth aged 16-26 transitioning to independent living

Home Base Drop-In Centre -- in Richmond Hill and Vaughan, serving at-risk and homeless youth aged 13-24 * direct services to address issues youth presently face such as employment, family issues, life skills, shelter, hot meals, counselling, recreational activities and clothing

Nightstop screened local families host low-risk youth overnight in their homes providing safe private room overnight, shower, supper and breakfast * hosts receive remuneration to assist with expenses * youth transportation available;



Youth Employment programs: Specialized Training Employment Program (STEP) * Base 4 Success (B4S) * Youth Job Connection (YJC) * Youth Job Connection Summer (YJCS) * Every Bite Matters (EBM) * Youth Success Strategy (YSS)

Housing Assistance -- support worker for youth aged 16-26 throughout York Region * assistance in transitioning from one location to another, conducting housing searches, assisting with government applications, providing community referrals and information on shelters and other similar programs, as well as conducting the intake process to the Residential Program

Transitions -- extended transitional housing program for youth 16-26 * graduated market rent concept with case management support * for period of up to 3 years

Outreach -- seeks to reach youth between the ages 13-24 to assist them in accessing services that can be of support to any aspect of their lives * The Youth Street Outreach Worker goes into the communities of York Region in search of youth who are not yet connected to 360°kids programs and other social and community services across the Region * assistance applying for ID * crisis intervention and informal counselling * housing support * employment support (resume writing, interview prep, SIN card applications) * educational support

HOPE -- housing and support program for female survivors of human trafficking * 3 dedicated beds for women in shared environment with wraparound support services including trauma counselling, employment supports, assistance accessing community resources.

Gang prevention and intervention -- L.E.G.I.T. team works with youth providing leadership engagement, conflict resolution and mediation, counselling, presentations in schools on youth violence and gang prevention strategies, mentorship and leadership training

Individual And Family Counselling -- youth have access to a professional counsellor, who provides counselling in a non-threatening, supportive, client-focused format where access to assessment and supports/resources are made available * the counselling focuses on: personal and social development; behavioural change; cultural demands and expectations; and reintegration of youth with their families or transitioning to independent living
