Description (Service) door to door shared-ride service for individuals unable to use conventional public transit for all or part of their trip due to a physical or functional disability in York Region * connecting services to other transit zones are available
Hours service available daily 5 am-3 am, including statutory holidays * call centre hours 6 am-12 midnight * Transit office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility individuals must pre-register * for individuals unable to use conventional public transit due to a physical or functional disability * considered on a case-by-case basis with 3 levels of eligibility: Unconditional: all trip requests, Temporary: for specific duration, Conditional for specific use or times

Must have at least ONE of the following limitations:

Physical: unable to walk a distance of 175 metres / 575 feet
Cognitive: cognitive disabilities impact functional or physical ability to use conventional transit, including: emotional disabilities, brain injury, intellectual or learning disabilities;
Sensory: experiencing sensory motor area conditions, such as Parkinson's disease
Visual: legally blind and have undergone travel training
Application To register complete and submit the Mobility Plus Application Package (PDF online) or call 1-866-744-1119 to request hard copy *  
Registration Forms to be completed and signed by the applicant and a health care professional * registrants receive personal numbered registration card * bookings should be made to 4 pm the day prior to or up to seven days in advance 
 
Book, cancel and confirm trips by phone 24-7 with our IVR system * press "0" at any time to speak with a Trip Reservationist * Book r trip before 4 pm day before travelling or up to seven days in advance * confirm pickup time for trips two hours in advance of booked time
