Description (Service) Programs that build the skills and abilities of children with autism and support their participation in their families, schools and communities * academics, therapies and inclusion * individually tailored academics, life skills training and speech, behaviour and occupational therapies * traditional classrooms, therapy rooms, an autism-friendly library/resource centre, a gym with a climbing centre, a calming room featuring Temple Grandin's Squeeze Machine and a Snoezelen Room * SMARTBoards, iPads and augmentative communication devices are everywhere at Giant Steps, used by students and staff for both communication and learning;
