Description (Service) Under the supervision of trained staff and volunteers, access centres provide fully supervised on-site visits in a group setting, and supervised exchanges when access occurs off-site * provides a safe environment for: access visits between children and their visiting parents, of up to two hours; exchanges of the children from one parent to the other for the purposes of unsupervised access visits * observation reports available
Hours The visit and exchange centres are situated in four locations * we will try to accommodate visits or exchanges at the location of your choice or as stated on your court order 
 
York Region Sites: 
 
1. Aurora, near Yonge & Industrial Parkway: Weekly Fri 5:45 pm-8:15 pm, Sat 9:45 am-3:15 pm 
 
2. Richmond Hill, near Bayview & Elgin Mills: Weekly Sun 9:45 am–3:15 pm 
 
3. Woodbridge, Islington and Woodbine, Weekly Sun 9:45 am - 3:15 pm

Boundaries There are multiple sites within York Region
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and under 
 
Families can access service by agreement or with a court order * to be eligible for service there can be no involvement with the Children’s Aid Society
Application Contact * Intake Interview and an orientation by the child(ren), before first parental visit * requesting the service directly or by a referral, a parent’s lawyer, a judge or the Office of the Children’s Lawyer (OCL) * Referrals should include a copy of the court order or the signed letter of agreement and should be faxed to our Administrative Assistant at 905-953-1413 * court order or the letter of agreement (signed by both parents) must specify the conditions of access, which include the number of hours per visit, the number visits per week, restrictions, and the names of the individuals who can attend the visits. * need copies of any social work assessments and/or psychiatric reports involving either parent, a copy of the bail order, probation order and/or restraining order, if applicable * All referrals are first-come, first-served basis, wait list available
