Description (Service) Confidential crisis telephone response service * mental health Information and Referral for York Region, South Simcoe & North York * supports children and adolescents experiencing mental health crisis, as well as older adults, their families and their caregivers who live and cope with dementia, mental health disorder and other neurological conditions at home, in long term care facilities or elsewhere * Community Crisis Bed Program, * Co-Response Police teams for South Simcoe and York Region

Mobile Crisis Response Teams for situations assessed to require a more direct, face to face response, a Mobile Crisis Response Team is able to respond within 12 hours, 7 days a week to provide on-site supports

Co-Response Mental Health Unit available 12/7 to provide on-scene mental health assessment, consultation and support to assist York Region Police, York EMS and South Simcoe Police

Child and Adolescent Crisis Response in partnership with Kinark Child and Youth Services * face to face response to provide assessment, stabilization and connection to services

Application Individuals are connected with a crisis response professional, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week * the crisis worker will provide an immediate response in a variety of critical situations, including: feelings of distress, loneliness, anxiety or fear, thoughts of suicide
