Description (Service) Supports the whole family who are coping with a life threatening illness, or those who are bereaved * Services include: Oasis Day program on Thursday for registered clients * support groups * Visiting Volunteer support in clients' homes * Mind / Body Connection - Yoga, Relaxation & Visualization * Art Therapy for Newly Diagnosed * caregivers and the bereaved * Support through YRDSB, working with youth through anticipatory grief and bereavement;
Memory Bears makes beautiful keepsake teddy bears out of cherished clothing * clients bring in clothing articles that have significant meaning for them or their loved one * after discussing overall design with the client and hotographing each piece of clothing, seamstresses construct the bear using the fabric provided;
Picture This art purchase program to help sustain the Art Therapy program * all art for sale is created by clients to support program and validate clients' experience * all images available in watercolour, canvas or on photo paper
