Accessibility Advisory Committee Provides advice, recommendations and assistance to Council to develop and facilitate strategies for the identification and elimination of barriers for citizens with disabilities * promotes accessibility related public outreach, education and awareness initiatives;

Central York Fire Services Joint Council Committee provides and administers a borderless, single tier of fire protection and prevention services throughout Aurora and Newmarket in accordance with the Consolidated Fire Services Agreement and the Fire Protection and Prevention Act;

Elman W. Campbell Museum Board advising on the development of policies and programs for the operation of the Elman W. Campbell Museum;

Heritage Newmarket Advisory Committee assists the Town of Newmarket in achieving its goals for the documentation and preservation of historical structures, buildings, properties and artifacts by advising and assisting Council on matters related to designation under Parts IV and V of the Ontario Heritage Act, the conservation of historic structures and the architectural and natural heritage of the community;

Lower Main Street South Heritage Conservation District Advisory Group responsible for review of heritage permit applications in the Heritage Conservation District area * reviews matters relating to the Official Plan, Zoning By-law, Site Plan Control By-law and Sign By-law as they apply to this area;

Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management represents downtown Main Street business community * works to improve and promote Main Street District Business Improvement area through investment and advocacy to maintain its position as Newmarket’s premier shopping, business, and entertainment destination;

Newmarket Downtown Development Committee esponsible for the economic development, growth and revitalization of Newmarket's Historic Downtown as defined in the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and to improve the economic and social well-being of the community as a whole;

Newmarket Economic Development Advisory Committee rovides Council and staff with strategic advice to facilitate and promote balanced and sustainable long-term economic growth that will benefit Newmarket and its residents through the attraction, expansion and retention of businesses;

Newmarket Environmental Advisory Committee responsible for providing advice and recommendations to Council and staff with respect to environmental issues in the Town * facilitates education and outreach, and provides volunteer support related to special events or programs approved by Council;

Newmarket Public Library Board govern the affairs of the Library within the framework of the Public Libraries Act R.S.O. 1990;
