Description (Service) Accepts blue box recyclables, cooking oil (maximum 4L), electronic waste, household hazardous waste, styrofoam, scrap metal, metal appliances, shredded paper, tires (maximum 10) and refrigerated appliances with valid CFC removal sticker * Fees apply for some items including concrete, drywall, garbage, refrigerated appliances, wood and yard waste

Does not accept logs, Household Hazardous Waste from industrial, commercial or institutional sources, material containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), ammunition, explosives, radioactive waste, asbestos, sod, soil or clean fill
Hours Transfer Station Mon-Sat 8 am-5 pm * Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Tue and Sat 8 am-5 pm

Eligibility Children under the age of 12 must remain in vehicle while unloading * Only household waste generated in York Region will be accepted * Vehicle restrictions apply , must unload manually
