Description (Service) A museum that celebrates the historical and architectural accomplishments of the Children of Peace, the builders of the Sharon Temple.

The Children of Peace formed during the War of 1812, participated in the Rebellion of 1837, and were instrumental in the election of both Father's of Responsible Government. They used the Sharon Temple as a place to come together and collect money for charity. They used that money to open the first homeless shelter in Canada, one of the first credit unions and co-operatives in the western world.
